My approach to couples therapy is based on Dr. Stan Tatkin’s Psychobiological Approach to Couple Therapy (PACT), a model to addresses relational issues at their roots and often help shorten the overall length of therapy.
Are you feeling frustrated with your partner? Has your relationship changed in ways that you are unsure of what to do? Do conflicts seem to escalate out of nowhere? In couples therapy, we pay close attention to moment-to-moment nonverbal communication to address underlying problems.
By understanding why your partner acts the way they do, and also what you and your partner genuinely need, we can restore intimacy and strengthen security.
In my sessions, you and your partner will learn how to de-escalate, develop healthy communicaion patterns, and cultivate a deep understanding of one another. I aim to create a safe place to discuss difficult topics as well as facilitating deeper vulnerability.
